“Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore. We must be over the rainbow!” With that exclamation Dorothy’s adventures in the Land of Oz begin.

Nancy Ann as Dorothy, sculpted by doll artist Dianna Effner, is made of the finest bisque porcelain, has hand painted details and stands 6 inches tall.  She is wearing her blue and white gingham dress, white under dress and, of course, her Ruby Slippers!  Dorothy has braided brown hair and eyes.

“Follow the Yellow Brick Road?” Dorothy asks.  “Follow the Yellow Brick Road.” the munchkins tell her.  As Dorothy begins her journey down the Yellow Brick Road to find the Wizard of Oz and her way back to Kansas, the munchkins start her off with a song:

“You're off to see the Wizard
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
You'll find he is a whiz of a Wiz If ever a Wiz there was.
If ever oh ever a Wiz there was The Wizard of Oz Is one because
Because, because, because, because, because...
Because of the wonderful things he does....
You're off to see the Wizard
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz!”
